On Saturday January 23rd, day one of the Düsseldorf Boat Show, it was time to know the results for the European Yacht of the Year Awards. Co-ordinated by the German Sailing Magazine 'Yacht', 11 journalists, coming from all over Europe, tested in November the nominated yachts, and elected the Outremer 49 as the European Yacht of the Year 2010! 

Just two years after joining with Allures Yachting and the introduction of a new and dynamic management team, Outremer are now back at the front of performance yachting. The Outremer 49 is a stunning yacht that modernises the Outremer concept and delivers it with passion, good design and great styling.

The award was received as Hull N°1 was arriving on the other side of the Atlantic sailing the last days at an average of 12 knts per day. For the Outremer team it's a fantastic reward for all the work done to re-establish the brand.
