The whole staff of the Belleville sur Vie (Vendée) factory, where Lagoons from 38 to 45 feet long are built gathered on July 8 to celebrate the delivery of Lagoon 400 # 100 and of the brand new Lagoon 450 # 1, that will be launched this week. 2 highly successful catamarans, with 118 units sold to date for the Lagoon 400 and 30 Lagoons 450 already ordered. 

The Lagoon 400: already 100 delivered!

Hull # 1 was launched on March 23, 2009; hull # 100 was delivered on July 8, 2010, # 109 is on the assembly line and 118 have already been sold.From moulding to shipping, 90 employees from Belleville work full time on the Lagoon 400, building one boat every 2 days, so as to meet the fantastic success of this cruising catamaran. She is easy to maneuvre, safe with her wide sidedecks, and has plenty of storage and light in her vast saloon.But the Lagoon 400’s success is also due to her performance under sail and her reasonable price (from € 229,500.00 ex tax). 

The Lagoon 450... at last!

After presenting her in 3 D renderings and even with a virtual visit to our clientele, the Lagoon 450 # 1 will at last be launched very soon. After undergoing extensive tests, she will be sailed from Les Sables d’Olonne to the Mediterranean in time for the coming Cannes Boat Show.In our constant efforts to improve our catamarans’ quality and standards, the Lagoon 450 offers a more accessible cockpit with a better all round view and a direct access to the steering station on the flybridge from both sides.Inside, the indirect electric lighting system gives a very pleasant atmosphere at night, and the galley sinks are accessible from the cockpit as well.
